Rahul Khare, MD, is an emergency medicine physician at Northwestern Memorial Hospital and an assistant professor at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He is passionate about emergency medicine, quality of care, and educating people about health in a way that translates the information from science to “normal language” so it can be understood and retained. Dr. Khare has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles and is grant-funded by the Department of Health and Human Services to evaluate patients presenting to the emergency department with heart attacks. He is regularly featured as a medical expert on a variety of TV and radio programs, as well as in print articles.
