Heart Health: What Smart Women Need to Know

Heart disease is the number one killer of women, claiming the lives of over half a million females every year. To better inform women about their cardiac health, Northwestern Memorial’s Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute and Heath Learning Centers are partnering for the fifth annual women’s heart health symposium on February 3. This special symposium, taking place on National Wear Red Day, will explore the latest life-saving prevention strategies and empower women to lead stronger and longer lives.

From the latest in clinical research to cooking demonstrations and workshops on diet, exercise and stress management, the symposium will offer women smart strategies for protecting their heart. Registration is $30 per person, but sign up with a friend, and it’s only $50 for two registrations. Cost includes lectures, materials, refreshments and discounted parking. Space is limited.

For full details and program agenda, visit Northwestern Memorial’s website.
